Hi guys

I’m 12 days late with my editorial but better late than never, amiiright?!

It’s been super hectic, I hope you understand.

Anyway, since the launch of our website it’s been all action here at Monochrome. We put all our time and energy into preparing for “The Great Pop Up” that we didn’t put up as much content here, as we usually do.

I am happy to announce that our second edition of The Great Pop Up was a great success. We are so overwhelmed with all the support we’ve been getting and just as grateful.

We had 20 traders; 7 Clothing brands, 1 shoe brand, 2 deco, 4 accessories, 4 hair and beauty brands, a Namibian marketing app called ePula and Krazysue The Artist who did body paint and henna tattoos.

We had so much variety this year. Proud to say, all Namibian businesses.

It was a really fun day, with great snacks by the Goethe Cafe and cocktails by Cappello. We also had a live Dj who had a great set from start to finish.

We even had a 30 seconds game session, which had 3 teams of 3 battle it out for N$ 1000.

A fun day, I repeat!

But we couldn’t have made this possible without our traders. We’d like to thank them, especially, for coming on board. We’d also like to thank the fashion council for including us in their festival, the Goethe Institut for the perfect venue. A big thank you also goes to our main sponsor Cappello. The Photobooth was also present to capture our favorite moments so we’d like to thank them too.

Last but not least. We’d like to thank everyone who came out to support Monochrome and especially the traders. We really need to look out for each other, I’m glad to see that we are doing just that.

Obviously the next pop up will be bigger and better. Trust.

Now that that’s over. It’s business as usual. More content, more Namibian greatness. You guys won’t be ready or maybe you will. 😀

Anyway, that’s it for now. Thank you for reading.

Love,

Betty Sibeso
