202Thrive?
No?
Okay.
I’m just happy to be here.
2025 feels like rebirth. It feels like a return to self. And that’s exactly what we intend to do with Monochrome’s return—come home to the purpose, the vision, and the passion that started it all.
Not much is changing, actually—nothing is really changing. We’re just applying pressure to everything we’ve always wanted to do for the industry.
Being less active over the past few years made something very clear:
Namibia needs a platform that celebrates Namibians in a way that is exciting, innovative, and boundary-pushing.
We need events that bring us together, spaces where creatives can connect, collaborate, and build something bigger than themselves.
We need an archive—a digital and physical reference that makes it easy to find Namibian designers, models, photographers, artists, and cultural pioneers.
We need a platform where writers and contributors can express themselves freely, where their voices can shape narratives that matter.
We need a space that celebrates the underdog, amplifies individuality, and encourages creativity without limits.
We need Monochrome Magazine.
This magazine is as important as it is necessary. Our return has only validated that, and we can’t wait to share what we have in store for the industry.
If you’re reading this, you’re part of this movement. Whether you’re a creative, a supporter, or just someone who believes in Namibian storytelling—we’re doing this for you. And we’re doing this together.
Welcome back to Monochrome. Let’s influence culture.
