So just like that, it happened again, the clock reset itself and it is time to turn a new leaf. But how? With so much still left undone.

What happens to the gazillion projects, ideas and to-do-lists that still linger on, unattended? They have started piling up, getting higher with each repin.

Every year we set new goals, make new lists and plan out things in the hope that by the end of that year, we’ve at least progressed enough to have some-if not all completed.

Hi there, my name is Jaimee-Lee Diergaardt and this is my story.

My list dates back to 2013, when I first got into blogging. Initially a school project, I wanted to do so much with it but life side-tracked me and my blog never blossomed into its full potential, and with that came the never ending/forever lingering thought of “what if.”

I’ve always been consumed by the what ifs. The things I want to do but for whatever reason, never do. These what ifs have been keeping me up at night, setting off my heart with anxiety, uncertainty and doubt. They have left me feeling incomplete. Less than. Undone. In limbo

As much as Pinterest is a gift from the Creative Gods, it has worsened my situation.

With it’s neatly planned out, beautifully curated boards and endless categories of things I most likely will never get to, because I am constantly pinning – adding to the pile. (no shade to Pinterest, it’s an absolutely awesome platform.)

I have come to the realisation that a life consumed with the things that feel unfinished, is incredibly unsettling, much like the feeling of having left the iron on at home – or living in constant fear that someone else will do it first, if not better.

With that said, I intent to silence my nagging curiosity by fulfilling my need to see this through – to attend to my pile.

I am going to continue blogging (turned Vlogging, to keep up with new times). I am going to go on that diet. Try out those natural hair products. Build that pallet bench. See that workout through till the end. I am going on that trip. Booking that test drive……

And I am going to take you along with me on this journey. To keep me accountable and in check.

So buckle up or strap yourself in, we have a list of 103 things to complete.
