This months edition of Model Update, we speak to Anna Shiwedha. One of the most sought after models in Namibia and now a Miss Namibia 2018 finalist.
Here’s an update of what she’s been up to lately:
So how are you?
I’m great! Life’s been good, my skin is glowing, discovering new things about myself, reading books, eating right! I couldn’t be better 😊
What are your aspirations in life?
To be happy! Honestly. And just do everything with love because love is the foundation of all things.
What have you been busy with?
My job’s always making sure I have something on my hands, collecting donations for charity and I’ve just been recently chosen as one of the finalists for the Miss Namibia and it’s been phenomenal to say the least.
How do you balance work, modelling and life?
I really just try to get a schedule of my work schedule and work around that as my job is very demanding and requires most of my time. The negative is that I can never make plans until like a week or two in advance because everything happens very last minute. It’s not easy, but I manage.
What’s your favourite thing about what you do?
I’d say the best thing is the traveling and being able to meet a lot of great and amazingly talented people.
Favorite recent projects?
Ahhh.. this would be the MTC commercial gig. This was one of the coolest, visually satisfying gigs ever!
You favorite image of you?
It has to be one of the shots taken by Ayo in Sossusvlei.
Dream modelling gig?
Walking on EVERY Milan fashion show! Hahahaha
What cool projects can we look forward to this year?
I will be doing a collaborative fashion project with one of Namibia’s best male models, so watch out for that *wink*
Set of words you live by?
Faith. Hope. Love.
Everything I have experienced has been purposeful. It has brought me to where I am now and I have these three words to thank for that.
