It’s Friday, let’s have a leggy party!
ED’s Note
Hi guys! Welcome to our brand new website. New Year, New tings right?!
Having blogged with WordPress for over a year, we are proud to finally make monochromemagazine.net a real thing.
Longer, thicker, fuller lashes – MiLash Namibia
We are so in love with the level of productivity and innovation Namibian entrepreneurs are taking up lately. It’s so refreshing to know soon and very soon we’ll be wearing, eating, using products made by Namibians for Namibians.
New Beginnings
It’s a new year and a lot of us try to embark on new beginning, whether it’s as small as eating better or as deep as loving yourself (or doing things that mean loving yourself) or as life changing as stop smoking and drinking.
New year or not, a new beginning means an end of something you’d much rather be done with and looking forward to greater things. A better change.
We went on out to find what new beginning some of our readers are most proud of, maybe this will help you start your journey.
Wellem Kapenda’s skin care routine
Ever wondered how these male models keep their skin flawlessly radiant? It’s as though they deep their faces in honey or better yet, unicorn water. Yes, yes, you would probably think every photo is retouched just so they sell us dreams right? But what than do you think is the reason for having such flawless skin when you finally meet them in person?.
Model of the Moment: Woudré Zandrea Tune
At first glance, you will fall in love with her distinct, exotic facial features but you won’t be ready for when you actually see her captivating and alluring walk as she strides down the runway. Modelling since the age of 17, the gorgeous 21 year old is a 2nd year student at the UNAM School of Medicine and says school is her main priority right now.
Her name is Woudré and she’s our Model of the Moment. Find out a little more about her in this short interview:
Kanye West x Armando van Wyk
Yay! Finally an entry from a guy. Aaannd he did one of our faves, KANYE WEST! *twerks
Hailing from the capital, Armando van Wyk is a student who also does promotional modelling. (Obviously)
See how he did when he took up our challenge: MONO|Dress like a Celeb.
We loved it. We loved all of it.
Kylie Jenner x Anne Hambunda
This time on Mono Dress Like A Celeb Challenge we have writer and poet Anne Hambunda channelling her inner Kylie Jenner. She does it flawlessly too. From her stance, to the setting of the pictures, to the actual clothing. Like, where did she get that striped dress that looks exactly like KJ’s? We’d really like to know.
Anyway, see how she did:
5 Days + 5 Looks = So much fun
Solange Knowles X Felicia Mutonga
Monochrome Magazine would like to introduce the dress like a celebrity for a week challenge. For the first challenge we chose the beautiful style icon known as Beyonce’s little sister Solange Knowles. The singer-songwriter/DJ/model/mother definitely has her own style. Fearless when it comes to colour and print she always adds her own unique twist to every look. So 21 year old radio personality/actress, media and drama student Felicia Mutonga took up the challenge, well, not so much because she is already a big fan of Solange and sometimes adds that bohemian chic in her everyday style.
