At first glance, you will fall in love with her distinct, exotic facial features but you won’t be ready for when you actually see her captivating and alluring walk as she strides down the runway. Modelling since the age of 17, the gorgeous 21 year old is a 2nd year student at the UNAM School of Medicine and says school is her main priority right now.
Her name is Woudré and she’s our Model of the Moment. Find out a little more about her in this short interview:

What was your favourite project to work on ever?
I think one of my favorite shows was the La Mode Fashions: Spring Summer Collection XXXVI, fashion show. It took place on the 11th of March 2016, at the NAGN. It was very different form the normal fashion shows with a runway, instead we each had a podium and worked it, mannequin style. Also her clothes and designs (Leah Misika) did most of the work for us.
Favourite international model?
My favorite international model would be one of the five original supermodels, Cindy Crawford. Mainly for her runway walk, she’s graceful, alluring and commanding at the same time.
What goals have you put in place for your modelling career?
As of right now, I don’t have any plans concerning my modelling career. I do it because I love it, but for now my education does comes first.
What would your ultimate model experience be?
My ultimate model experience would be walking in New York Fashion Week. My favorite week of the year actually.
Talk to us about walking in the first ever Windhoek Fashion show?
Windhoek Fashion Week was a great experience. I met amazing people in the industry, both international and national and made a few new friends. I got to wear beautiful clothing made by our very own designers. Now about the actual walking, once I was on that runway, all the noise and people were cancelled out, I didn’t even hear my boyfriend shouting from his seat (which was right next to the runway). My focus was on my walk, the beat of the music and the camera ahead.
What did you love most?
I loved walking down that runway the most.
Plans for 2017?
Plans? Well, I’ll still be in med school, and doing what I can in this industry in my Namibia.
