Hi guys,
Its August, and I’m not ready. Not mentally ready for the month at all, hence, the late submission. Everything seems to be happening so fast and I’m experiencing major FOMO. *rolls eyes so deep.
Anyways, do you guys remember my mini handbag journal entry?, Well, in case you missed it, click here http://: http://monochromemagazine.net/2017/06/05/disneys-creative…the-mini-handbag/.
So, instead of just telling you how cute they are. I decided to push the boundaries a little by showing you guys how you can rock the look.
I have been stalking Ndahafa for the longest time and just love everything about her. So I decided to ask her to style any cool mini handbag she owned. With no hesitation she agreed. Yáll should have seen my face man *laughs.
Ndahafa is a fashion designer and about to launch one of Namibia’s biggest fashion brands yet. I mean as much as I thought id never have a chat with her, it happened and I can proudly say SHE IS AMAZING.
Let me not bore you with details but all I can say right now is, watch the space.
Without further a dew. Check out how she styled her fav mini hadbag 5 ways. She even gives us exclusive in-tell about thee bag. A total must have I might add.

Look 1 | Manya meets Kova
For my first ensemble I decided to dress it up a little in my current favourite wide leg pants and strap top from my brand, Manya. This look is the perfect dose of minimalism and is perfect for a formal outing such as a corporate event or fine dining. I paired it with beige pointed heels, gold earrings and my handbag of choice which is a clutch from an upcoming Namibian leather bag brand founded by Petrina Auino. The leather bag’s brown rusty tone against the beige garments enhance the look and give it an effortlessly elegant touch.

Look 2 | A little bit of timelessness
I’m a huge fan of donning classics especially the timeless pairing of a crisp white shirt and a bold red lip. This look can easily be worn as a day or night look and screams class from a mile away. I’ve paired it with my ripped denim jeans, gold open toe heels and topped it off with my Kova leather bag. I always say that red lipstick is like an accessory on its own so try to keep the rest of your makeup minimal and let your bold lip do all the talking.

Look 3 | Local works best
Fun fact: Kova sources its fabric from Namibia’s very own leather supplier,Nakara and the brand strongly centers around minimalism and quality.
I paired my Kova bag with a shoulderless navy blue jumpsuit and gold open toe strap heels. This look is perfect for a simple night out on the town or casual dining with your friends or colleagues. I love how the contrast of brown and navy blue always compliment each other perfectly.

Look 4 | Damsel with an edge
I love dressing it down once in a while but who says you can’t dress it down and still maintain a little bit of sass? This time around I decided to pair my Kova leather bag with a black pleated bardot top, ripped denim jeans and black pump heels. I added a little bit of edge to the look by pairing it with my favourite cat eye sunglasses and a pair of gold earrings. Casual with just the right amount of chic.

Look 5. | Fiery elegance
I’ve consciously decided to shy away from constantly wearing black so for my final look I decided to go bright and paired the Kova leather bag with my current favourite pop of colour in my closet which is this fiery red jumpsuit. I love the contrast of the softness of the lightweight fabric of the jumpsuit and the hardness from the leather of the clutch. This look is perfect as a winter day look or as a summer night look, be it for any occasion. Ladies, pair this look with some red lipstick, simple earrings and you’re good to go.
