In celebration of the month of Love, we’ve picked out the hair trends you will fall inlove with this year.

The year 2018 is proving to be a daring year, embracing both feminine and masculine styles. In this issue, we are counting down the top ten trends projected for 2018. From Pixie cuts to the colors of the rainbow.  To find out what styles to look out for, read on.

  1. Colour Blending

Colour was big in 2017 and will be even bigger and bolder in 2018. Rainbow inspired DOs are grabbing all the attention. Greens, blues, reds, violets and yellows, all perfectly blended together to give you a striking, stunning look. When done right, this trend will dazzle. Think Solange Knowles.

  1. Round Curves

Leave the angular styles in 2017 and try out something a little more curvaceous this year. Rounded-under styles are the upcoming wave. Go from blunt, long bobs to softer, rounded edges to update your style. Think Margot Robbie.

  1. That Bob Life

The bob is here to stay, so make sure you have at least one bob lace frontal in your closet. This is a classic look that keeps re-inventing itself. Since it’s versatile, you can wear it straight, curly, or wavy. Think Selena Gomez.

  1. Structured Updo’s

Sleek and structured updo’s are beautiful ways of showing off a woman’s features. Romantic updos will be a hit this year, suitable for an evening of glamour. Think Cardi B.

  1. Pixie cut

Whether it’s a super short pixie or a shaggier one, Pixi’s are both very vulnerable and feminine as well as bold and masculine. If you have striking features like big eyes, sharp jaw or pouty lips; a Pixie cut will make your features stand out even more. Think Zoe Kravitz.

  1. Brushed back styles

Whether you like it or not, the ’80s are back—at least in the case of current beauty trends. Pushed back hair is making a major comeback. The look includes a deep side part with the front pieces flipped back and out of the face.  Think Bela Hadid.

  1. High Pony

Up until 2017, you’ve probably written the high ponytail off as the hairstyle you reserve for gym sessions, but celebs have demonstrated that with a few tweaks the look adds elegance and ease to every outfit, whether you wear the style to Saturday night drinks with your friends or a Sunday morning at bootcamp. Think Rihanna.

  1. Retro curls

We may be looking forward to the rest of 2018, but when it comes to hair, we’re getting inspired by decades past. We will see a mix of ’70s- and ’90s-inspired looks. Healthy, fluffy hair is in right now.  Think Almara La Negra

  1. Blunt Bangs

Bangs are going to be huge this year and there are a lot of variations ahead — but the one single resounding style everyone agrees on is the curtain fringe. That is, the long, tapered, mysterious look that works for every texture and length. Soft, long, side-swept bangs will be big this year. Think Camilla Cabelo.

  1. Hair Accessories

One of the trends that will be a continuation from last year is hair accessories. They’re perfect for the low maintenance diva that wants something fast to dress up her look. Think Lupita Nyongo.
