8 Questions for Ros

Describe yourself in three words

Unique. Resilient. Lover.

Describe your blog

My blog is a glimpse of my true self; a yogi ambivert that loves love. It is a space where I strive to be open and honest about all my life experiences.

What you want your readers to get from it?

I want my readers to know that it is okay to be different. We were not made to fade into the background. We were made to stand out. We find ourselves in a time where the media tells us we have to conform or be left behind. But that is not the case. Be the weirdo, the rebel, the outliner… Don’t rob the world by being like everyone else. Choose to rather shape the world with your uniqueness.

What are you reading at the moment?

The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle.

I am a firm believer that the book you choose to read speaks to the situation you find yourself in at that moment. This is the second time I am attempting to read “The Power of Now”. Here is to hoping I finish it😊

What is the biggest lesson you have learnt, in your 27 years of life?

I have learnt that the only true constant is love. Pain is fleeting; it serves as a catalyst to crack open ones’ soul so as to make room for new growth.

The tears one sheds are not in vain, rather they water the dreams we leave buried deep within us.

Where do you garner inspiration from?

I am inspired by the people I meet. People are amazing. Each person has a different story, a different perspective and a different way of approaching life. Just when I think I have seen and heard it all, I meet someone who shows me a different side to humanity and the world we live in.

Favourite quote/set of words?

And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

-1 Corinthians 13 v 13

What is your favourite thing to do lately?

Exercise! I am amazed at how challenging my physical strength challenges my mental and spiritual self too.

I do asanas in the morning and functional training with Emily in the evenings.
