On our radar this month is YAMWE.
A Namibian fashion brand started by Namibian black women. YAMWE, is derived from the oshiwambo language meaning, “Together” or “We are one”.
Their latest capsule ready-to-wear collection was inspired by a woman’s softness. The duo wanted to make a few pieces that were functional and comfortable for the every day woman, yet, still standing out through the fabric, print and fit of the garments.
