New month, new theme. This time we are tackling all things BEAUTY or at least some of it!
Beauty is such a hot topic right now because we are all trying define it and at the same time BE it. Be it in whatever form you see fit or are comfortable in. Is it with make-up? Sure, be it! No make-up but extremely coconut oiled face? Be all the way it! The aim here is that we all feel beautiful in our skin, however that means respectively.
Our issue this month explores the different areas of beauty, rituals and history, skin care routines and products, self love and so much more!
You guys probably already know what I’m about. Less is more. As long as my non-existent eyebrows look presentable, my lashes pumped up by a good mascara and my lips matte, I’m good to go.
Last year a client asked me to work on a brand ID for a product they would soon be launching. A Namibian lipstick brand, Kande Beauty. We worked on it and finally came to a beautiful conclusion. They went into production and presented their first batch earlier this year. I was fortunate enough to try it out for myself too.
Guys, I’m obsessed, specifically, with their nude shades.
The colours are beautiful. They smell really nice. They are long lasting and don’t stain. Most importantly they don’t give off that little residue after having them on for a while. It’s truly a great product.
Not to mention it’s a Namibian product.
