Buy months ahead, wait for summer sales to stock up for your winter wardrobe and vice versa. Buy your size and Thrift Shops (the affordable ones) are your friends.
What is in your bag right now.
Eye drops, deodorant, my wallet, my phone and charger and house keys. I lost my lip balm.
Latest purchase.
I want to say food, but I’ll keep it topical. My recent purchase were white sneakers at N$20 and a stripe tee from Marhkam.
Trends you are trying out now?
Dreads, I’ve been trying some makeshift dreads with what I believe are called twists? The top fade dreads hair style, has been really intriguing and I’ve wanted to do dreads for a while now. I also really like the new 70’s dad shirts with with the geometrical designs.
Favourite hangout spot in the city?
The pantry at Avani. Great food, quiet environment and I can do my freelancing work till late.
Who is your all-time fashion icon?
It’s a tie between Pharrell and Miguel. I secretly get inspired by Lil Uzi Vert sometimes.
What never goes out of season?
Black! It never goes out of season! I don’t care how hot it gets you can never go wrong with black!
