What would you do for love?
Certainly not just anything, there’s a love that’s pure, nurtures you and is reciprocated, then there’s the kind of love that’s blind, toxic and just mentally drains you. Not just love between two people but also between friends and it’s important to identify that early on in any relationship.
What is your favourite love story?
It’s cheesy but the notebook. Not so much the story but more the concept of unconditional love.
What aspect of love would you like to pass on to your children?
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. (1 Corinthians 13:4–8a)
What smell from your childhood has always made you feel full of love?
My mothers perfume cupboard, she’s no longer with us but I’ve also started to build a collection of my own and I’m constantly reminded of how classy she was. When I smell the dior perfume she loved, it immediately takes me back to the days where I’d watch her put on makeup and get ready for work. I’m so proud to have been raised by her.
If love were a flower, which one would it be and why?
A rose because even when it dies it still beautiful.
What do you think love smells like?
My husband’s cologne when I hug him. 🙂
