Happy New Year!
I hope we’ve all entered the new year in good vibes if not (like me), don’t worry we can still change that.
I am currently in between wishing I could sleep in longer and excited to get back to work.
I’ve reflected on what a good year 2019 was, the highs and the lows, the lessons. I’ve jotted down my goals for the year and I recently put together my 2020 vision board.
For my first That’s BS entry I wanted to list a series of quotes and words I intend to live by this year.
I wanted to share them with you guys in case you too were looking for inspiration.
Putting myself first was a quiet thing – soft and certain, a gentle rebellion long overdue. – s.r.w
Protect your peace, get rid of toxicity, cleanse your space, cultivate love. (Not sure who this is by)
Patience with how your heart wanders, you will find your way.
My business dreams are always / constantly manifesting.
Money and abundance flow to me now in perfect and unexpected ways. (Karen Powell)
I am a force for good in the world. (Karen Powell)
Accept that some days you’re the pigeon and somedays you’re the statue.

Don’t glorify the grind. There’s nothing honourable about working yourself to death. You are worth more than your achievements, than your success, than the ticks on your to-do list. – Cindy van Wyk (2020 Beso Media Calendar)
A better life is one in which you see yourself. Magnificent and whole. Filled with fire. Encapsulating the deserving essence of divinity. See yourself. Passionate. Purposeful. A better life is one in which you are not auditioning to exist. – Ericke Tjieuza (2018 Beso Media Calendar)
May the love you dream about the most be your own. – Cindy Van Wyk (2020 Beso Media Calendar)
It is your duty to find your life’s purpose and to offer it the best seat at the table. – Ericke Tjieuza (2018 Beso Media Calendar)
These quotes all come from two books that I keep. I write down every quote that speaks to me in these books and one day I intend to give the books away to someone who needs them more than I do.
What are some of the quotes you are living by this year? Please share with me. 🙂
Till next Monday.
