Mid-year already? What?

Yeah, no. 2017 is flying by really fast.

I am excited though. June means it’s a new fashion season. Layers on layers. Rags. Statement coats!

I am a winter baby so I always feel winter is my favourite season, or should be. Lol.

Winter fashion, albeit hard to keep up with is all about statements and accessories. If you are going to throw everything on, something needs to stand out. Which is why we asked one of our favourite fashion bloggers Nandjaya to help us style an oversized jacket a few ways.

Winter also gets you repeating something too many times, be it your favourite pair of boots or jacket, you are going to wear it more often than not. So we asked the gorgeous model, Petelina Frans to wear something for a week and document it. I’m excited to see how she pulls that off.

We’ll also be doing another My Mono Look Book this month with the beautiful Felicia Mutonga. Look out for that.

Disney will be talking about cute tiny bags and why you should get yourself one in her next journal entry.

We also get candid with a few of our favourite industry players; El-Shaddai Aluteni of ThisE, The dynamic duo of Afroberries, stylist of the stars Reinhardt Mahalie as well as the gorgeous Trina Andreas. We are also chatting with model of the moment Varaa Hambira about her reign as Miss Namibia Second Princess 2016.

If you don’t know yet, we’ve added a few talented contributors to our team. Diverse and ready to give you the best content. Check out Mavis Braga’s Mono & Me column and read about self-love. Paulina Mbango is taking over part of our MonoBeauty, focusing on hair and nail care. Whereas Rejoice Amutenya is spilling all things MonoTrends. The other part of MonoBeauty that focuses on skin care will be taken over by Cindy Kavita. Look out for her first post.

Yes, June is packed with so much new content. You guys aren’t ready. Well, after reading this you probably are. Lol.

Another thing, it’s important to us that you subscribe to our site. If you haven’t already, please do it after this. Thank you.

Any concerns, thoughts about our content? Please feel free to tweet or email me.

Till next month.
