Back with a bang, Windhoek Fashion Week is taking place 8 days from today. Promising to be bigger and better than last year, the organizers are not holding back.

The biggest fashion event is here and this is what we know.

Slated for the 1st – 4th November, this year’s Windhoek Fashion Week will be held at the Nampower Convention Centre in the heart of the capital.

Fashion Designer and Blogger Leah Misika will be opening Windhoek Fashion Week with an offsite private show on the 1st of November (Day 1).

Day 2 will have Fashion Talks that will be hosted by Industry Professionals with a focus on running a sustainable fashion business.  These talks will be hosted in conjunction with the Fashion Council of Namibia and Goethe Institut.

Day 3 starts with the first slot titled “A Style For Every Story” which will see the following heavyweight Fashion Designers; LAO Designs (Nam), House of St Luke (RSA), Fresh official (ANGOLA), Nivaldo Thiery (Mozambique), Quinn Hammond (NAM), TM Brand Clothing Line (Nam).  Melisa Poulton’s collection named “Earth Fire” will close off Day 3 of Fashion Week.

Day 4,  last night of Fashion Week will see the following;  FoxyGinnah(Nam), Sdu Shezi (RSA), Sai Style (Nam), ELGVNCIE (Ang), L’Aesthetic (Nam). Ingo Shanyenge will close off with his  “Power in My Style” show.

“The Intern by David Tlale” will be back and our very own Deon Angelo will be coming back home to show case his work alongside other interns as part of the program.
