Ubuntu Modelling Agency is a Namibian based modelling agency that offers local representation for models. It has been a whirlwind two years for Ubuntu models. A huge congratulations to them.
Born out of conversations with two current models, They have created a unique, diverse agency for models. Ubuntu which is an African Nguni Bantu term meaning “humanity”. It is often translated as “I am because we are” ) (Ubuntu Models). Founded by Steve in 2016, explains how running an agency is definitely not an easy thing especially managing people that are the same age as you. He has, however, found a way to have mutual respect amongst himself and his models to make it work.
I was not a designer, was not a photographer nor a model, just an ordinary dude who took a challenge.
Fast forward two years, Ubuntu celebrates it’s 2nd birthday. Celebrating their successes and their challenges of the past two years and toasting to their exciting future ahead of them.
