Winter is by far my favourite season of the year. From chunky knits, statement coats to just curling up with a blanket and sipping on cuppa hot chocolate…hmmm
When it comes to this time of the year I keep going back to my essentials year after year. They bring a sense of warmth and comfort.
My first essential is soft fabric knits. I die for soft knits, they are super cozy and warm and when I pair them with a fitted jean I’m good to go, #BASIC.

Another winter staple that I’ve added is the “baker boys cap”, my winter look would not be complete without this bad boy.

When it comes to beauty and makeup, I go for deep tone shades and so the lipstick I like the Palladio velvet matte cream lip colour in the shade “Panne”. I do however suffer from dry lips so a good sugar lip scrub and moisturising lip balm is always a must to keep them from drying out.
For my perfume I love musky scents throughout the year and the African Rain body+air+linen mist is the perfect one for this season. Going into skincare, I really have been enjoying facial mists, they give my skin such a great pick-me-up during a cold, wet and windy day. I’ve been rotating between The Body Shop Facial Mist in Vitamin A (a really great moisture boost for when your skin is feeling dry) and the Vitamin C (for dull and tired skin, which I guess is common in winter).
My other essentials are snuggling up in bed reading a good book or watching my favourite series which right now is “Power” and “Grown-ish”.
I hibernate during this time of the year, so you will find me at home all day long.

What are your winter essentials, let me know?
