Here’s to another style journal dedicated to winter.
This time I talk about what shoes I’m currently loving at the moment and readying for Winter.
There’s nothing worse than having your outfit all planned out and you have to compromise your outfit in order to trudge through a dry cold day/night. That’s why I have invested in pairs of chic winter shoes that I actually want to wear all day and night long.
It has taken me years to getting this right and I am still learning as we go. Some of them are latest purchases and some I’ve had for over 2 years now. Point here is, investing in the right shoes is key even if it costs you a good coin.
I got these from H&M on a trip 2 years ago. I am absolutely in-love with them because of how versatile they are. They came in black only and if they had them in a nude, I would have taken both pairs. They have a sock-like elastic material which makes them super comfortable. The round block heel is golden. That helps me spend an entire day/night in them without complaining about discomfort.
I got these from The Fix earlier this month. I found them on sale and I knew they were meant for me. These cooper babies are a new fav because my trousers are elevated to the next level now. I can wear them with my jeans and sweat pants any day. Throw an oversized jacket and chile, we are sorted.
These Chelsea ankle boots have been and will always be a fav. I coped them from Dunns 3 years on a trip to Keetmanshoop with work. The detailing on the ankle is what sold me. The military green takes this shoe to the next level. Think of your summer dress paired with your leather jacket and a scarf or your favourite jeans, accessorized the same way. Winter ready is what.
I’m not a fan of platforms or big soles on a shoe but these babies caught my eye. Found them on sale same as the Copper boots from The Fix. I have been abusing them the moment I got them and they have been such a bliss. They keep my feet warm while I look editorial at the same time lol.
How is your winter shoe game like?
Yes, I really want to know.
I hope my shoes that’ll definitely be on rotation this winter helps you get an idea of how to stay warm all season long.
Until next time Bunns,
