In this segment of creators we love, we’re featuring Loini Ashipala, a 20-year-old content creator/influencer on instagram and tik tok.
Born and raised in Ongwediva, Loini is a fashion enthusiast and has been creating content for roughly 2 years. In addition, she is also completing a full time degree at the University of Namibia.
Describe yourself in three words…
God Fearing, Reliable and Passionate.
How did you get into content creation?
Growing up, I’ve always loved clothes. During my free time I’d play dress up and put pieces together that made sense in my head to create a full look. So getting into a creative space to create content towards something I am ardent about came very easy to me.
What do you want your followers and viewers to get from your content?
Well I always thought that people actually didn’t notice me until this one time, whereby my friend told me how much people loved what I do, how I dress and so on. So if anything, I want my followers to feel that they shouldn’t be afraid to express themselves through what they wear and to try new things… You could pair up the most basic jeans with the right pair of sneakers, a top and have the coolest outfit ever!
What are you into at the moment?
I’m so into dresses at the moment! For the longest time, I’ve had this theory that only boy-ish or baggy outfits look cool, but I think I’m about to transition into my mini dress/girly era.
If you could be anywhere in the world right now, where would you be?
I’d definitely be in Santorini, Greece . Everything about that place is just so beautiful and dreamy!
What life advice do you live by?
I live more by scriptures than life advice so…
Be wise in the way you act towards outsiders, make the most of every opportunity!”
What’s your mood for the rest of the year?
Definitely living life to the fullest, because we only have hopes for tomorrow and we do not know what it holds!
