Our fashion industry is growing so beautifully and so is our blogosphere. We couldn’t be more excited for the future.

A fashion blogger we are loving right now is the gorgeous Kauna Angula. So much that we went on and style stalked her.  We know you did too.

Chic. Sophistication. Elegance. Those are three words we like to use to describe Kauna Angula’s  style. From silky floor length jumpsuits to pleated pastel maxi skirts Kauna’s fashion sense is undoubtedly one to praise. She automatically goes onto our nominee list for the MIFAs. Yaay.

Her self titled blog is in fact a personal blog where she talks everything fashion, lifestyle, life goals, plans and so much more.

Her Instagram is just as colourful. If Kauna is not one of your faves right now, she will be after you read this. Thank us later.

Check out our favourite looks and get ready to print this article out for your scrapbook.

That time she wore a green, floor-length, silk jumpsuit.

That time she was monochromatic in wide legged trousers & frilling off-shoulder top.

That time she paired a pleated pastel pink maxi skirt with a white YSL tee and looked effortlessly chic.

That time she switched it up on us and wore a crop top sweater and high waisted tights. Talk about versatility.

That time she killed the game  with distressed oversized jumper and knee-high boots.

Learn a little more about the stunning and smart #bossbabe in this short interview:

Who is Kauna Angula, what does she do apart from curating a fashion blog?

I am a lawyer and an entrepreneur.

What’s your take on Fashion in Namibia?

I feel that in the recent years a lot of people have developed their own sense of fashion or are hugely influenced by fashion influencers notably seen on Instagram. However, the pure fact that there are so many fashion designers showcasing their fashion lines and fashion shows is an indication of a rise in the fashion industry.

Talk to us about your relationship with fashion…when did that start?

Well, my relationship with fashion isn’t that serious. I do not put a lot of stress on how my ensemble should unfold. Otherwise, it takes away the fun from dressing up. That’s just too much pressure.

Please describe your style…

I’d like to say it’s simplistic. It may be supplemented by how my mood feels on a particular day.

 Fashion Icon?

I like the styles of Victoria Beckham, Jenna Lyons, Giovanna Battaglia, Rihanna, Lady Gagga to mention a few.

What’s your favourite thing in your closet right now?

I don’t really put much attachment to clothes as much as I do to my handbags and shoes. So this is a tough question,

If it were a clothing item, it would have to be my pink suite (I l-o-v-e pink) that I had bought for my post wedding church outfit but it never made it to church.

However, if we were to speak of a handbag, well I’m obsessing over my latest addition to my handbags, which I can’t get myself to take out of the box (LOL). Handbag reveal coming soon! So it has to be definitely this new lover of mine.

Why a blog? Talk to us about why, when, how you started.

Starting a blog isn’t something new to me. I started blogging in my undergrad days but was not so serious with it and as well when I started a few years later after that under a new name. The same reason stands as to why they were short lived.

Last year, was a tough year for most people and well in my case, I thought to myself why not start something and commit to it, if I have a passion for it or obtain some enjoyment from it. With the current blog, I want to commit to my personal blog where I can have a place to inspire not only through my personal style, but fitness and health, beauty tips and how I see the world in my eyes. I get the feeling that people assume something else of me than what I really am and the feedback I’ve received with the blog has been real mind-blowing. One was that I am apparently relatable LOL.

My blog is some-what a personal diary of mine, where I can escape the everyday life punches (I don’t discount the cyber bullying).

Plans for 2017? In terms of fashion?

Just to get out enough content to grow my blog and grow within my own personal style.

What can we look forward to?

Where will the interest be, if I kissed and told (lol), also plans do not always go as planned.
