I think I said it before. I’m a very minimalist dresser. It’s black, white, grey, neutrals or nothing.

Until I went to The Sequel’s new store the other day and I, all of a sudden, wanted to try out colours and dramatic prints. From wide legged trousers, to blazers, dresses and beautiful two-pieces, I genuinely wanted The Sequel to be my closet.

We know them as the vintage clothing outlet we find at markets but now they have their own store on Tal street, Windhoek.

It’s safe to say, we all know where I’ll be leaving my money from now on.

But I’ll try not to because I’m trying to save and invest more like we reiterate here.  In this issue we talk about money and things involving money. Have you ever wanted to ask someone how much they get paid, our new contributor, Njekwa Mwamba tells you why you shouldn’t do that in Money Etiquette. She also tackles the who pays bill saga on a date or between friends.

Beauty tackles “Can money buy happiness?”, while Emily shares how to get fit on a budget. You can also find out what the MONO Team spends their money on here.

Back to The Sequel Vintage Store. I’ve worked out a plan that will ensure I don’t break my bank but also have all their cool stuff.  Something about a monthly budget for the store. Spend money that I would have used on food or something like that.  I’ll see if it works and let you guys know.

I mean have a look:
