Let’s talk different types of exercise and how they can aid you in life:

  1. Joint flexibility exercises 

Flexibility is the range of motion in a joint or group of joints or the ability to move joints effectively through a complete range of motion. Flexibility training includes stretching exercises to lengthen the muscles and may include activities like yoga or Tai Chi.

Joint flexibility is important because everything is reliant on how well the body is able to move. If an individual isn’t able to do simple movement they may have a very poor quality of life and may not be able to do most of the other training.


  1. Cardiovascular exercise

Cardiovascular training, is a type of exercise that increases the endurance of skeletal muscles by making the distribution of oxygen by the heart more efficient. Cardio is a great way to lose weight and keep it off by burning lots of calories.

In simpler terms . The body learns how distribute oxygen in such a manner that when even if limited it can still function fully. This may be at the cost of strength as the body needs oxygen to perform strength training.

The benefits of this type of training include the ability to participate in a range of sports and activities with ease. In addition it strengthens the heart thus in turn lowers an individual Resting heart rate.


  1. Anaerobic exercise – Force

The word anaerobic literally means ‘without oxygen’ or ‘without air.’ Anaerobic exercise is a high-intensity but short-lasting activity, where the body’s demand for oxygen is much greater than the oxygen supply that’s available. This kind of exercise depends on energy sources that are stored in the muscles. Some types of anaerobic exercise include jumping rope, interval training, heavy weightlifting, all types of sprints (biking, running, etc.), hill climbing, swimming, isometrics, or any quick burst of hard exercise.

* Improve endurance and fitness levels. …

* Improves mood

* Energy


  1. Muscular endurance & strength exercise 

Even though to a certain extent your genetics are predetermined. Individuals can still train to increase muscular strength or endurance.

Endurance is trained by lifting lighter weights for a higher number of reps or running longer and longer distances. Endurance is most commonly linked to cardiovascular training, however there is a slight difference in the fact that cardiovascular training doesn’t always equal endurance training, but endurance training always includes cardiovascular training.

Benefits of endurance training include the ability to maintain strength or speed during activities that last long. 

It is also very beneficial for athletes.

Strength is trained by lifting heavier weights for fewer reps and doing short, powerful sprints. This type of training falls under anaerobic exercise. 

It is worth noting that all different types of exercises should be executed correctly to reap full benefits. These different types of exercises can also be combined depending on an individuals desired outcome. Lastly it is important to note that training is a great way to improve mood and general attitude.
